Jiaobing Tu Receives the Prestigious 2024 IUPAC-Solvay International Award

Congratulations to Jiaobing Tu, postdoc in the lab of Wei Gao, Assistant Professor of Medical Engineering; Investigator, Heritage Medical Research Institute; Ronald and JoAnne Willens Scholar, for being one of the five winners of the 2024 IUPAC-Solvay International Award for Young Chemists! This year there were 44 applications from countries all over the world, and competition was close. The IUPAC–Solvay Award Selection Committee consisted of several scientists active in IUPAC and a Senior Science Advisor from Solvay—Syensqo. Together this group has a wide range of expertise in chemistry.
Jiaobing will be recognized during the 50th World Chemistry Congress (WCC), which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 13-18 July 2025.
